The pre day planning with you was very smoothly arranged; all the facilities, courteous staff, and golf course exceeded our expectations. Pony Club, Belfast

We have been frequent visitors to Down Royal Park GC for over five years now and cannot speak highly enough of the treatment that we receive each year. It is clear to see that there is an emphasis placed on customer service and each member of staff presents themselves in a polite manner when trying to ensure that all of our members/guests feel welcome. Any request we have made, from extra tee times to meal options are always dealt with in an open and timely fashion. It is always nice to know that one phone call to a member of staff can generally solve any issue!

Through the years we have seen the 18 hole golf course continue to improve and is far the best value for money that we have seen, the fact that we consistently visit the course travelling from Belfast is testament to this.

Outside of our society outings, my four-ball regularly visit the course on a Tuesday morning to avail of Down Royal’s meal deal offer. Even if we are running late (during a bad round) out on the course, a quick phone call to the office to place our order and it is waiting for us promptly after the round!

To conclude, I cannot recommend this course enough. Either for a quick round or for a group outing, the setup at Down Royal can cater for any booking. Pair that with customer service that makes you feel valued as a customer and you’re on to a winner!

Carryduff GAC

As part of our ongoing fundraising activities we have over the past two years ran an Annual Golf Day at Down Royal in Lisburn. With last year being our first Golf Day in a number of years we were grateful to help and assistance shown by the team at Down Royal which assisted us in making our experience a successful one. With that experience in mind we had no hesitation in returning to Down Royal again this year and are glad to report that another successful day was had. Our golfers commended the course and facilities and appreciated the post golf meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse. As an expanding GAA club we pride ourselves in our involvement in sport, cultural activities and community outreach programmes. It is clear that Down Royal also pride themselves in providing an excellent golfing facility, great clubhouse and most importantly excellent staff who made us feel hospitable and helped us wherever possible. With this in mind I would have no hesitation in recommending Down Royal to any club or society. In conclusion I would like to extend my thanks on behalf of Carryduff GAC and we hope to see you all again next year!
